Looking for recommendations or reviews of solar powered battery tenders. I have a Mahindra Emax 20 tractor and I am looking to get a solar powered battery tender for it. Unless the general consensus is that they are all no good. I do have power close to where the tractor is stored but I would rather not have a drop cord run to it.

Anybody use one, have a recommendation for one or just a sober opinion of one. Drunk opinions welcome too.

These aren't bad , but as with all things from Harbor Freight, there's a gotcha. They're not weatherproof, so while they're good to put on your dash, they will rot out from rain if left outside.

Perfect size for small tractors / mowers though and they work.

These are weatherproof, fer sure - We‘ve been using these with great success since May of ‘21:

We also purchased these as the pigtails going to our batteries were DelTran and for some reason the polarity between the two was reverse; all good now (we just wrapped the connections real good with electrical tape, they and the above chargers sit outside 24/7 from May through September every year:

ETA: I have these on three vehicles myself and they’ve kept me from having dead batteries and they don’t get cranked for long periods at a time
