Solgw 13.7” in stock

I don't know much about their uppers, but I almost bought their BCG the other day. If I don't get this complete DD MK18 I bid on, I'll prob pick one up to go with a BCM upper.

Who makes their barrels? I saw an upper of theirs that went on sale somewhere but it seemed extremely mediocre. I was a little surprised. I think it was just a Ballistics Advantage barrel.

My understanding is BA makes most of their barrels but they are a step up from BA’s standard lineup.
Their BCGs are (or were) from the same supplier as BCM but with improved extractor spring.
 
The upper for this is in stock at Primary Arms. Considered picking it up if I don't win this auction on the DD MK18 and PA has another 12% off coupon. Hopefully it will still be in stock. Would put it at $675ish without BCG/CH. On par with a BCM without the BFH barrel. Not quite sure if I want the rifle length though.

That seems like a fair price to me. I’ve wanted a BCM rifle but the way they sell uppers and lowers separately more commonly than whole rifles makes it difficult because their stuff sells out so quickly

They use Ballistic Advantage barrels finished to the SOLGW specs. The bcg is made by Microbest who supply BCM.

I'm looking into this SOLGW upper, but am really wondering if the price premium VS Aero is worth it. If they're both BA barrels, idk. Maybe the SOLGW stuff is better quality but I'm not sure if it's any better than BCM at the same price - If I'm in this price range I may as well fork over another $200 for Daniel Defense which is known to have some of the best barrels.

I dont think you will go wrong with any of them. A plus is Solgw does warranty their barrels for life. If you shoot it out they give you another.
 
These are nice rifles and the 13.7 w pinned keymo muzzle device is a nice touch. However for the price I’m almost to an LWRC IC which is simply absurd. When the SOLGW is around $1300 I’d consider.
