South Park: New episode TONIGHT (26 Sep), 10p EST.

So what's this about failing a math test. Lol
It will quite obviously be political in some respect, and I'm interested in how Trey and Matt do the gun thing. Can't wait to see how it plays out. Last season was very anti-PC, while being pro-PC on the surface (which triggers the libs).

My kid loves that show and has me watching it more than not. To me the show’s creators are almost political whores with topics but not in a leftist way most of the time. I don’t know what to really call them but their story lines spoof so many things and most of of the time I just see them making fun of both extremes especially with using the Carman to show the idiotic side of the issue they are spoofing.

It's why they've existed for 22 seasons. They just make fun of whatever political topic exists at the time. It's brilliant.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone are both libertarians from the Denver area. There is actually a real town in CO (Fairhope) that some of the characters are based off of.

They definitely make fun of both extremes.

There is a really good documentary called "6 Days to Air" about the making of the show.

They are libertarians.

To quote Trey: I hate conservatives, but I really f’ing hate liberals.

South Park is not as funny as it used to be, but no matter how many times I see it "Krazy Kripples" where Jimmy and Timmy join the Crips or "Woodland Creatures Christmas" are the gold standard for funny IMHO.

They aren't as free to write whatever they want anymore. It was made clear when PC principal beat Cartman and Cartman makes it clear that resistances to PC is futile. Same with last episode where they dump Mr Hankey.
