We saw a beautiful 2013 Silver Dodge Mega cab Shortbed dually 6.7 Cummins w/ black interior.
5700ish miles.
It was spotless!

What’s wrong with it?

Why would I not want to be saddled with payments?

Most companies didn’t really work out the def systems until 2014 so that is a potential issue.

And I’m not sure what year dodge finally took the hint and put a decent transmission in their trucks. Before they did, I had mechanics tell me if I bought a dodge heavy duty to leave the overdrive off unless I was above 55 on the highway.

Payments? That’s a personal decision. Sometimes you gotta have them. When I can avoid them I do.

Easier to list things that won’t give you trouble on a 6.7 Cummins truck. (Oh and dodge actually went backwards on trans quality after 07….stuffing extra gears in the same case = reduced power handling ((68rfe)) and the asin trans is equivalent to the slow shifting Allison’s although slightly more reliable than the 68’s)

You can count on the long block not giving troubles, so there’s a plus…🤣

I appreciate y’all’s opinion… I just don’t like ‘em..

Dang it’s PUUuuurrty 😍 though ..

Dont let it dissuade you. Just gotta be ready to deal with stuff as it pops up. I loved my 6.7 despite of the issue’s and $$ spent, but someone else might not tolerate the same.

2013 ram 6.7 didnt use def they switched to the def system in 2014. The 2010-2013 had something else that seemed to have its on share of emission issues seems like plugging egr coolers if memory is right.

My 2014 has been ok so far, few small issues but all the new ones seem to have them.

This one definitely has def. I saw the gauge and the filler in fuel door.
Must be a late or miss dated year.

It may have been 2013 they went def and 2014 when they changed suspension under 2500 rear to coil springs im thinking. It was one of the two years or like you said mid year swap
