Excellent use of douche nozzles.yeah....I'm not their target market market.
I suspect the douche nozzles in that place are overrun with red anodized chicom accessories.
Better to say it than sell cans with a warranty and then refuse to honor it like YHM.
Apparently, this is how new suppressor companies market themselves on Reddit. They are complete clowns, reddit loves it, company sales go through the roof...Was a POS web site is it really just a joke or something?
Dead Air is a trash company (my opinion). They deleted their Reddit and Instagram instead of responding to the issue. They are a marketing company that doesn’t make anything in house AFAIK.Apparently, this is how new suppressor companies do market themselves on Reddit. Eventually, someone will have a problem with one of their cans, they won't warranty it, and the entire Internet will turn on them.
Sort of like Dead Air with their Sierra 5 fiasco.

Yeah all that combined sounds like a headache. Waiting 9 months for a can that might have the baffles dissolve after 100 rounds doesn’t sound fun. You're somewhat wrong. But mostly right. 🤣
They're a design and marketing company. Supposedly, they're slowing becoming a manufacturing company.
I used to be a borderline Fanboy of them. But time after time, I have a hard time finding accessories for their cans. 3 lug mounts for the Ghost has been vaporware for over a year now. Xeno mounts and adapters are sometimes hard to come by. Keymo has been having lots of issues. Their contractor can't figure out how to weld titanium properly (Ti Nomads coming apart semi frequently). Their Sandman cans are loud as crap. The only cans they make that I care anything about at this point are the Mask and Nomad / Nomad L (but only in steel)
I'm the NFA guy at the gun shop I work at. I'm the one that picks what cans we stock. Dead Air isn't a brand we stock, other than the Mask...because I can't get DA mounts for the Nomad.
I love my Mask! Secret Squirrel quiet. You're somewhat wrong. But mostly right. 🤣

I have two on hand with two more that should be out of jail soon (maybe).I'll stick with Rugged.
Neither does hunting down muzzle devices. I’ll be waiting to see how/if they recover from the Sierra fiasco.
Same experience with them. Had an end cap strike on my Obsidian 9, contacted them and had a tracking # for a replacement right away.I have two on hand with two more that should be out of jail soon (maybe).
I was running the 9mm end cap on my Obsidian 45 in the k configuration. I let it get loose (didn’t do the initial tighten after the first mag). Emailed asking if the end cap was covered. 20 minutes later hand an email saying absolutely what’s your address. They said if it happens again to send the can I’m so they can see if something is out of spec for some reason. And I told them I let the van get loose.
I was impressed to by their CS.
I also like the fact they're in SC. Minor detail, but I like it.I have two on hand with two more that should be out of jail soon (maybe).
I was running the 9mm end cap on my Obsidian 45 in the k configuration and had a cap strike, barely. I let it get loose (didn’t do the initial tighten after the first mag). Emailed asking if the end cap was covered. 20 minutes later had an email saying absolutely what’s your address. They said if it happens again to send the can in so they can see if something is out of spec for some reason. And I told them I let the van get loose. The next day I can a new 9mm end cap in my my mailbox.

"Customer uses product in way unintended by manufacturer" does not void the unconditional, "no questions asked" warranty they sold the cans under. If they had changed the warranty for future sales, that would be different. Altering the warranty after the sale is wrong and illegal. Owners need those warranties. Our cans are by necessity lifetime purchases.“I want to use a non-YHM muzzle device/mount..a product manufactured outside the QC process of YHM, but if I get a strike, I expect YHM to fix my can for free.”
I’m honestly surprised they would have warranted a can used in conjunction with a non-YHM device to begin with, but they did.
FWIW, they still honor the warranty if you are using a YHM manufactured muzzle device and mount.
I'd only looked at the posted page. That's some serious cringe, agreed.I must be an old man in a 41yo body. I hate their website. I hate the stupid pictures. I hate the fact that their homepage starts off by berating potential customers. And, I hate the stupid pictures...

Yeah, I wasn't going to click through crap cartoonypics to find suppressor info. At least if there were pictures of the suppressors i'd be able to take a guess at a .22lr vs a .50bmgI must be an old man in a 41yo body. I hate their website. I hate the stupid pictures. YupWhy is the laughing emoji non responsive to my attempts. Any other emoji works.
Am I being oppressed?
