What he said. ^^^How are you measuring the pull weight?? 6# is awfully light and may not provide consistent ignition or trigger return. A deadly consequence...
I have one of these and while not fancy, it gets the job done.tool = https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004E4CZE2/ref=ox_sc_act_title_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
You bring up a good point, that is why I want the wife to run 100 rounds through to see if there are issues.
Funny you posted this because I just received a Wilson Combat 4 spring kit for my mom's new 642. The trigger pull is crazy hard! Wasn't planning on modding the gun for her but I know she'll immediately complain about the trigger weight.
I got the Wilson Combat kit on eBay for $14 shipped.
Sure will. I'm giving my mom the 642 along with a couple related items for Christmas when we get together next weekend, so I'll install the spring kit for her then.Would you post about the install and the results? Thinkin' about it for my new 442.
There honestly wasn't much to post about. I used this Brownells video and was able to install the spring kit and hogue tamer grip in about 10min. The hardest part was getting the action spring's little black base cap back in.Would you post about the install and the results? Thinkin' about it for my new 442.
