I'm installing the optic with the M4 x 0.7 x 7.5mm length screws and can't find the torq specs.
Swampfox says use the slide mfg specs, Springfield doesn't mention it! If you can't find it tighten no more than 15 in/lbs.
I did a websearch, and looked into Springfield's forum to no avail. Do any of y'all know what the correct answer is?

~ 30 in/lbs

Step torque it...

( preferrably with an In/Lb torque wrench... the Wheeler "torque ball" is pretty much a joke when trying to attain precise, correct torque values on micro threaded fasteners )

15 in/lb
20 in/lb
25 in/lb
30 in/lb

White fingernail polish on micro threads will hold the fasteners....

Never "Blue Threadlocker"....

30 seems pretty excessive. I’ll go look it up, but I seem to recall my 509t being around 15 in/lbs

Look up the torque value for M4 x 0.7 threads...

Convert that number from "Newton/Meters" to "Inch/Pounds"....

The answer is actually about 40in/lbs, but 30 will work well.

The very last sentence in the OP’s image says it all no more than 15 in/lb.

It says " as a safe bet "..... This is a "catch net" spec that keeps them from doing a bunch of warranty work for folks who dont have the tools to do the work correctly.

These manufacturers dont make their own fasteners/specs.. They (should) reference industry accepted standards.

The values are listed in the Machinists Handbook.

O.P.

Send me your stuff. I'll mount it properly free of charge.
I appreciate it.
I have two torque screwdrivers that were calibrated a few months ago.
I looked up the industry standards for torq specs. 30 in/lb seemed pretty high. Plus I’m not sure if there’s 6mm thread depth (1.5x the screw diameter). The other odd part is I found no industrial screws like these. The taper head dia is only 5mm.

They are a variant of a SHCS.
The finish is black oxide.
