I have this rifle.

Supposedly the circle 10 stock is supposed to be something nice but it's a bit short for most people. How hard would it be to replace it with a longer stock? I guess a side folding stock would not be an option since I am missing any latches on the receiver to lock into so a normal stock would have to do?

Seriously though, any standard AK stock meant for standard open end receiver will fit but might require a little sanding or filing, which is pretty standard for AK's.
Try something "NATO length" or get something adjustable.
If you want adjustable and cheap, try this:

I am fine with keeping the rifle, while it had sort of a tough start mine is later production and has been working just fine. I will look at the NATO length stocks.

I suppose the lockup when folded is integrated into the stock itself? Now that I think of it that's how it works on my 10/22.

Yes, there is a hinge in the stock itself that folds.

I can't answer that, as it is rather subjective. NCStar gear is definitely budget-tier, but I don't know any operators rocking a Zhukov either. Mine has held up well for years, lockup remains strong and sturdy. You can usually find them on sale somewhere, and on the used market pretty regularly.

I have one of these on one of my AK’s. I like it a lot and actually prefer it to my Zhukov rifle. P.S. I’m 6’4” with long arms.

Splendid, nothing better than input from people that have the item in question. How hard was it to install? I went ahead and ordered me one.

The stock came in and I did put it on just now. It did require a good bit of removal of material with a sander to make the stock go in. I am happy with the result, length of pull adjustment could be a bit more but it's plenty better than the original.

It also has QD mounts so I was able to put my sling right back on, I like that.

My other area where this particular rifle cold be a bit better are the sights. They are just basic black sights and hard to pick up. I think I will eventually put a Texas Weapons systems dog leg dust cover with rear peep sight on it (also has rail on top for red dots). Any idea on how to make the sights stand out more as they are?
