Storm last night

My son came by last night to get a heating element for his dryer..
When the weather turned ugly he left all hell broke loose, and showed back up to the house white as a sheet...

A tree fell on his car while he was driving it.
If he would have left 30!seconds sooner he would have been smashed or worse

I was at home in Tega Cay and the line of storms on the map looked ominous. The lake for a time was frothy, angry if you will. Then, petered out to nothing and gone.

Yeesh! Glad he's OK.

It literally straddled us just south of Greenville NC. Chicod (few miles south) and Bethel (few miles north) got it pretty hard I heard. We got a few minutes of gentle rain. Not a twig down.

We got a tornado alert. When I checked the map, we were right in the middle of a narrow strike zone. Later found out a neighboring turkey farm was destroyed, but no humans were hurt. There's random turkeys up and down our road.

Wow glad he is ok!

Last year we had a neighbors huge popular tree fall across our property and land squarely on the trunk of my daughters Mazda 3 and onto my full sized GMC 1500 work truck, both of which were a total loss, the bright side is that no one was hurt and our deductible was only $250.
