I am building a new 14.5” upper with P/W muzzle devise, i have went with a Ballistic advantage barrel. Going to pick up my Aero M4E1 lower today. My question is i can get a Aero upper with dust cover and forward already installed or a Blemished BCM upper with dust cover and forward assist included. Is the bcm worth the $8 higher price tag than the aero? I was thinking of going with the aero to keep the lower and upper from the same company. But if the BCM is better I’ll go that route. I know most are made from a handful of forging companies.
Thanks

BCM has a thermal fit barrel extension. Some aeros are tight but I don't think it's a design feature. Thermal fit is supposed to be more accurate, no idea if that's true.

Aero/aero will ensure the tightest fit between upper and lower.

Edit: if you don't own a torch or a heat gun don't buy the BCM. I run SOLGW uppers because I'm based AF. I took a propane torch to get the barrel in on my upper. It's TIGHT.

I just figured since this isn’t a precision rifle I don’t need to worry too much about how tight the barrel fits in the upper.
Even if you're not building it for "precision", it only takes a few seconds to square the receiver face. I usually use a little blue loc-tite for bedding the barrel.

Even my blaster builds are pretty accurate

Obviously be sure to clean the threads on the receiver when you’re done. Don’t want that barrel nut to turn into a lapping tool 😉
