Suggest a quality digital meat thermometer for use on the Weber Kettle and the house stove.

Thermapen if it’s in the budget. If not, same website has lots of options.

I have the thermapen condom that glows in the dark.

To the OP, this is a critical tool, but if it’s in the budget also look at the options for probes that you leave in while cooking. The “dot” is inexpensive and works great.

I have a couple Thermapens and really like them. I bought a few of these Kizens from Amazon over the years as extras and honestly can't tell much of a difference in speed to respond or accuracy. When the Thermapens die, I'll buy more of these cheap ones.

For the average cooking grunt a Thermopop is all you need. Think they are about $30. Only difference between them and the high rollers is a few milliseconds or so in how fast they read the temper7.

I use a cheap one with a corded thermocouple from Walmart. Other than having to dry it out after leaving it in the rain it's been fine. Nice not having to open the grill/oven to check temps.

Had a couple of these and they worked good. Only reason for a couple is i had a brain lapse and used the magnet to carry it out to the grill stuck to a pan and forgot it was on there till i saw the smoke coming off the grill.

Amazon product ASIN B079DRC97N

I've left my Thermapen outside after using it for several days on end and its still kicking. I've had it for more years than I remember. Only issue I've had was the cove over the battery was hard to get off at one point. Im sure that had nothing to do with forgetting it outside next to the grill. Its an instant read type thermometer which is nice. I bought a couple of my buddies the thermapop for presents, I believe they are still in use also. Im interested in this Govee, off to Amazon I go.
