So just got my can out of jail mounted it using ASR mount to my Ruger American that was factory threaded. Can is a Chimera 30 Cal mounted on .308 Ruger American. The alignment rod is a piece of tool steel rod that rolls pretty damn true on a flat surface, .297 diameter. I expected the bore to be aligned a little better than this, but its not like this is a 5k special built rife. Can I go full send on this?
