Suppressor for 22lr (pistol/rifle, maybe 5.56)???

Narrowed down to either of these:

ThunderBeast 22 Takedown
Length 5.6 inches
Diameter 1.0 inches
Weight 5.9 ounces

Dead Air Mask
LENGTH 5.1 inches
DIAMETER 1.070 inches
WEIGHT 6.6 ounces
I’d also consider the YHM Phantom 22…as long as you’re not shooting it on a 5.7x28 handgun. 😎

5.5”
1.1”
4.0oz

It’s generally only an issue if you’re buying elsewhere and having it transferred in.
Unfortunately the two dealers local to me have suppressors in stock but the have a 100 fee for processing your application they take your picture supply you with two fingerprint cards.
Then send it electronically to the atf for you via your account.
For that they charge you 100.00
If you're saying it's not like this every where perhaps it would be cheaper for me to drive further an save money on my next purchase

I have a Thunderbeast .22 takedown that you’re welcome to try out. Quietest .22 can that I’ve ever shot. Video below of me shooting it with standard velocity CCI’s (the short barrel makes them subsonic).

Ditto Andy’s comments about the quality of TBAC’s management, as well as product. I own several of their products and have been extremely pleased with them.

My last purchase was from @SecundusSystems, he is in the Pittsboro, NC area. Very professional, knowledgeable, and super helpful. I highly recommend him.

Several years ago, I made a purchase from @TARHEELSTATE. He is in the Matthews, NC area. Also a great experience.

Both these guys are not exactly close. But outside the great and friendly service another reason to support these guys with your business is they are both forum sponsors. They put their money up to keep the lights on for us, least we can do is put up our money to keep their lights on 😁

That’s ridiculous. Zero reason for that to be charged.

You can roll your own prints and take your own pic for free. Ok, a one-time purchase of an ink pad, which is $10.

Since the both local dealers do it, I never knew it was any different any where else till
It came up here.
That the good thing about participating in in these threads.

FWIW, I’d recommend the Dead Air Mask HD and Rugged Oculus 22 as two of the most indestructible, easily maintained, and quietest cans on the market. Both have virtually no first round pop.
