I don’t think it has the release. I’m sure that the look and lack of release is due to patent infringement concerns. They look different than my surefire can, do they have the release on them?
Does it lock on to and release from a surefire mount as quickly and easily? I ask because the surefire system is about tops of qd and if this does that equally as good I will own more suppressors for a lower cost.I don’t think it has the release. They used to modify wardens into actual surefire collars for other suppressors.
From what I understand it uses the same index tab, so yes. Drops over the index tab, then twist to tighten and the other way to loosen. Just without the “release button”.Does it lock on to and release from a surefire mount as quickly and easily?
What is 5.56? I wish I could find the old brakes for the surefire I have. They also will fit over both 556 and 762 devices. So the collar on a 30 cal suppressor will work for both 556 and 30 cal surefire rifle muzzle devices, if you want to run a 30 cal suppressor on your 556.
556/223 muzzle devices. What is 5.56? I wish I could find the old brakes for the surefire I have.
No you can’t, I was joking about a 5.56, I don’t shoot anything in such a caliber. My surefire is the old school 7.62 can before the socom, but I like sure fire over my deadair qd hands down.556/223 muzzle devices.
That’s what I was curious about, if the lockup is as solid, and if so can you get it off as easy as pressing the release on a sf qd can. It does seem about twice as heavy as I’d expect but I’m not worried about weight, my rifles already weigh 16+ pounds. This particular adapter may work well, but they always raise concerns about tolerance stack and loosing while in use. Further this device is listed as 7 oz, which sounds very heavy.
