Hitting the range without a plan to improve your shooting performance doesn’t always set you up for long-term growth. With these drills, we’re providing you a framework by which you can measure your performance, track your growth, and ultimately become a better shooter. This is not a set of “standards”. Standards are something you can achieve, but often, once you do, motivation to continue improving diminishes significantly and skills plateau. Instead, this is a collection of drills and courses of fire, designed specifically to encourage continuous improvement, the only standard being how you performed on them yesterday.
This material looks pretty interesting just wondering what others with more experience think about it. I realize Lucas is not a veteran and has never been in a real gun fight but there is no denying the guy can flat out shoot. With the current cost of ammo many people are looking to get the most out of their range time and I just thought this may help some people. I looked at it yesterday, I like it so far. A large number of us are not veterans, and an even larger number of us have never been in a gun fight. I do not think those are necessary criteria to be a good instructor. A good instructor must be able to shoot, at a bare minimum, and that boy can shoot. And he shoots well, wether you love him, or hate him, makes no difference!!

It does not matter if you are the best shooter in the world, if you cannot teach, then you are an ineffective instructor. There are plenty of Delta-ST6 guys who are incredible shots, but cannot teach. There are plenty of civilian shooters who are great instructors. Good students take courses from good instructors who present material in different ways.

Overall I thought they were some very well put together drills. I especially like that several drills incorporate 50m carbine as well as movement. They did a good job on the walk-through videos too.

I agree 100% I just know some people that don’t like the guy hold that against him.

I must be getting old 'cause I remember the days when you could burn ammo like that. 😁

Good stuff.
