I recently acquired a new sling for my CZ Scorpion EVO II from Tac Shield, and it's the CQB Single Point Sling in Multi-Cam Black. The first impression out of the box isthe nylon that they use seems less abrasive than other slings I have used in the past like Magpul and V-Tac.

Another feature that stands out immediately duringinstallation is a cool sleeve that covers the HK style attachment clip that keeps it from making noise or scratching up your weapon while you are maneuvering. The stitching looks multi-layer and very heavy duty.

After running drills with it around the house and in the backyard, I am very impressed with the durability and wearability of this sling. Although this is my first foray in into singling point from 2 point slings, I found that once I got the hang of transitions (from shoulder to shoulder, and from primary to secondary) using the sling became very intuitive, and it feels, for lack of a better word “fast.”

Another two features that impressed me are the Side Release Buckles. First, it separates the sling from the weapon in a hurry, I practiced using this feature running drills today, and it worked just as intended. The second Side Release Buckle lets you loosen the sling in a hurry on your body if you need to get out of the sling quickly for some reason.

Overall I am very impressed with the build quality of this sling as well as some of the innovative features this company has included with this CQB Single Point Sling that makes it very user friendly. If you are looking for a single point sling or otherwise, I would recommend taking a look at the options from Tac Shield; they offer great value for the price and well worth twice what you will pay for one.
