Taurus 66 rear sight

Looking for a sight for an old 6" taurus 66 357. Will a smith sight fit this?

Some might, but smith sights can vary. Width is the same, but length varies as well as distance from rear to front screw. You got some calipers? Send me the width and distance from front screw hole to the edge of the rea slot and I can tell you for sure. Or you can use a tape measure. It will probably get me close enough

If you get it dialed in, Jack First would be a good place to start to source a Smith sight.

Unfortunately I didn't have any with me when I was there, I'll take some next time I go, it's for a friend's father. I'm pretty sure they didn't have a set, looks like a fairly old 66 6"

No. Smith sights do not fit. Ebay, gunbroker, parts houses.
