Forum friend, Larry 229 didn't think I could do this. This is my attempt. Wind was tough, 12 mph with gusts to 25. Maybe on a calmer day I'll try to go 250 yards and maybe beyond. We'll see. Thanks for lookin.

Good shootin. I've always liked the Taurus Tracker.
@Get Off My Lawn I've got a 2x pistol scope on my MKIII but a cheap one just to evaluate the concept. The minimal magnification (sometimes I wonder if it's even 2X) and not stellar glass does not allow me to see better, just limits my field of vision. Need either more mag or better glass or both. Going back to a red dot.

The one I was using in the vid is an inexpensive NC Star, 2-7x32, long eye relief. It is fine, I just don't like the turrets.
Think I'm gonna give this one a try. Still inexpensive, but I think it will work fine.

When I read the topic I missed the 200 yard part and assumed it was a video of someone shooting a target at 100 yards with a scoped 22 pistol. I thought no big deal.when I realized it was your thread I decided to click on it. You Vids are always pretty good.
Wow, 200 yards in that wind is impressive. I’m not sure I could hit it with that much accuracy with the same pistol and NO wind. Dang good shooting.
