I picked up some of the $9 (on sale) 33 round korean glock mags from Classic Firearms.
The first batch (of just 3) I got worked fine with wolf and tula ammo in my G34 and Ruger PC9. They're really hard to load, basically impossible, without a loader. I was using an up-lula and it was fine, similar to loading real glock 33 rnd mags.
A friend of mine ordered a bunch off my recommendation and found that he could not load more than 10-12 rounds by hand, and his caswell (sp?) loader would not work at all. I think he tried 5 different mags with no success.
This panicked me so I opened up a few more random samples from the second batch ordered and found them to be identical to the first. Hard to load, 100% function in a G34 and sub2k. In a friends AR9 they worked, but none of them would lock the bolt open. They would on the G34 and the Ruger PC9, the sub2k doesn't lock open anyway so it's not a valid test for that.
The followers are different than real glock, and I suspect the springs aren't as good but for $9 I think they're good enough for range use.
Anyone else try them?
