Im watching The Equalizer while dinner cooks. It's the end of the movie where he's hunting bad guys in the home improvement store.
ive enjoyed this movie since it came out.

It came out when I was still working at Home Depot (2014), and one day a customer was telling me how much they enjoyed it - I had not yet seen it.
The thing that stood out was the woman said, "it really shows you how much power you have working here!"
Ok, I dont know the reference, but whatever.

Then I saw the movie, as Im watching at this moment.
What the hell did she think I was going to do? Im not drilling dudes in the back of the head. Im not hanging people with barbed wire nooses. Etc
What an odd comment that she made. I love it.

hahaha i just watched this for the first time a few nights ago. ridiculous in many ways, but fun.

Very fun
Have you seen the 2nd? It's..alright. I mean, it's very similar
It's got that Pablo Pascal guy that's a Chilean actor that's really blowing up here in the states now due to The Last of Us, as well as many other roles.

Had to stop 2 because i fell asleep at night. gonna finish, but i'm also watching Last of Us...

I like when Robert returns the hammer in E1 and when he takes out the Russian Kingpin in the end of E2.

I watched 1 & 2 when I had Covid last year. Great movies and Denzel played the understated B.A. role very well.

Of course many parts are very unrealistic, but they’re entertaining.

Edit: this reminds me, I bought them on Bluray on Amazon next-day delivery for less than “renting” both via Prime video. Pretty stupid pricing on their part but I guess some people are less patient to watch a decade old movie 😂
