The actual pistol? None. He died in 1926, a full nine years before the High Power appeared. His Grande Rendement bore only a passing resemblance to the High Power. He was working on a superposed shotgun when he died, the High Power project having been shelved a year earlier.Does anyone really know how much work he put into the High Power?
He ought to be mentioned in every story about JMB. Starting as JMB's personal assistant about 1925, then finishing the Baby Browning and the Hi-Power after JMB died in 1926, then as head engineer designing several solid firearms, including the FN 49 and what became the FAL.. he was no lightweight his own self... a real good reflection of his mentor....Dieudonne Saive had to wait for them to expire so he could use Browning's tilt barrel locking system and sliding breechblock.
