An old herbal remedy for treating smallpox that is thought to have been used by native Americans in the late 1800s has been rediscovered and found to kill the poxvirus. Smallpox has been eradicated, but the finding offers a possible treatment for poxvirus in the unlikely event of a bioterror attack or increased incidence of similar poxviruses such as monkey pox.
Smallpox ravaged human populations for thousands of years, but in 1796 Edward Jenner discovered that exposure to cowpox lesions could provide immunity to smallpox. This led to the creation of the first vaccine for a disease. It took some time, but in 1979 the World Health Organization officially declared that smallpox had been eradicated.

Historical sources suggest that in the 1800s, when smallpox still posed a serious threat, the Micmac native Americans of Nova Scotia treated the disease using a botanical infusion derived from the insectivorous plant Sarracenia purpurea, a species of pitcher plant.
Now, Jeffrey Langland at Arizona State University in Tempe, US, and colleagues have conducted in vitro experiments with the herbal extract and found it inhibits replication of the variola virus, the causative agent behind smallpox.
Although, natural smallpox no longer poses a health threat, there is a remote possibility that unstable states or terrorist groups could have acquired stocks of the virus following the collapse of the Soviet Union, which had developed smallpox as a biological warfare agent.

A friend of mine has a flat of them growing in his green house, I encouraged him to ramp up production, showing him the scientific studies from years ago. So far, not all that interested.

Not directed at you AVL_AK,

With all the established LIES in the last few years and In general these drugs, vaccines ?, fall into 3 categories being, EUA, Licensed, Fully Approved.

Fully Approved means a drug has a set specific ingredients and the ingredients can NOT be modified or changed, period.

EUA, Licensed can be changed with "EUA" being the easiest for Pharma to change with no notification to FDA, CDC.

I fully encourage anyone to do your own research and draw your own conclusion~s.

I like Dr. Seheult's med videos. He also addresses that, ( officially , more below ) two strains of Monkey Pox are known in which he presents them as well as two vaccines to treat MoneyPox.

Concerning catching MoneyPox?

The original MonkeyPox has been around since 1958 without much a-do.
Later another M.Pox was recognized and has a different Genome then it's earlier version.

The media has been hyping one can largely and primarily get M.Pox from Gay Sex.
Factually it can be contracted by an exchange of body fluid~s ( not sexual ) , handling clothing and personal items from infected individuals, and HARD Surfaces.

What's a hard surface? A table top, a door knob, a toilet seat ( yup, it's a hard surface ) , etc.

So, how long does M.Pox Virus stay around ~ live on hard surfaces?
IDK, however it seems to be reasonable that if there's no skin that's been compromised, cuts etc, then there's some protection there.

So, two strains of M.Pox?
There are reports that Wuhan Lab is and has been, currently ~ present time '22, working on and with MonkeyPox Virus. These reports are documents and Lab report ~ findings to include funding sources and findings, etc.
