The saga of BatteryOaksBilly's AK pistol

Alright!!! Number Four is on the compound and we are now awaiting Number Five that is now under construction!
Have not shot it yet, pouring rain....again.
Trigger is a little better on this one and I Really like the mismatched Bakelite. The next one will be finished the same way. When the next one is delivered we'll get a picture up of all of them in the rack together. This will conclude my AK Quest with a total of 5 in the rack. 3 built for me by @digitalpaladin10. My thanks to him and to @charliesgrave for his help. Thanks to these two we have some pretty special AKs in the rack. Billy

Waiting on my last build for a while. This will give me 3 of these wonderful machines. I have divested myself of ARs but for 2.
Could anybody help me find a front sight tool that is long enough to reach in through the "protected" front sights on my guns. I have them zeroed but the rear is cranked up way too much for me. HELP!
 
Magnamatic is nice; other than having to straighten the elevation teeth in a vise from time to time, I've had no issues with these cheap-o AIM Sports/Tapco/UTG/PSA/unbranded front sight tools:

If this isn't what you already have, they're about $10. Probably not lifetime tools but good for awhile in my experience. I have a few spares and am happy to drop one in the mail to you if you'd like.

Charlie the problem is the front sight is a "protected one". None of the tools I have will fit Through the hole far enough to engage. No Worries The Kalash Whisperer says he is including one in the box of the newest to come. I can control elevation on the rear but I don't like it sticking up as high as it needs to be. When I can crank on that front one I can slide the rear back down.
 
Wow, never particularly been a fan of the looks of the ak47, that may have changed with seeing this thread! If I may ask what’s the ballpark finished cost of one of these?

I can’t speak for BOB, but mine was ballpark $800 for the Rom. Draco and brace. But I got mine pre 2020 panic. I was still in previous panic pricing. @digitalpaladin10 could give you an exact number though!

A good zero is 25/200. Set the rear slider to the "2" mark and leave it there. Rotate your front sight up or down to where you need it to get zero at 25 and you'll be a little high after 25 and close to on at 200. For a pistol like that, pretty good close up zero to scare man sized targets within yelling range.

Thanks so much Ole Pard for my 3rd Hammer. This'll hold me for a while. I Can NOT tell you other CFFers what a weapon system this man turns out. Amazing!

Just got a notice. My "package" arrived in Columbia at 4:15 am. From Kernersville to Columbia in Only 10 DAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No telling how long it will take to make it's trip from Columbia to Murder Beach!!!!!
Did I mention I HATE these Bastards??????

I am going to drive up and pick it up , it will be a 2FER...I’m headed up his way to get a Jeep transmission too
