Sasha Baron Cohen is extremely good in this dramatic role, a true story, about an Israeli Mossad agent who infiltrated the Syrian defense department in the 60s. Not a long series, 6 or 7 episodes.
I agree. I am generally not a fan. I liked him in Talladega Nights, and in his role in the film version of Les Miserables, but that's it. This is a totally different type of role for him and he's quite good.
Finished the series earlier this week. I agree that SBC was good in this role, despite me not liking any of his comedy roles. Decent watch even if a bit predictable at times.
