The Super Bowl is on today

Actually I forgot. I knew it was on sometime around now but I thought it was next week.
In the past, I always liked SB Sunday but this year I lost interest.

So I pop over to NBC..ugh..to see what they're doing. Immediately I'm presented with a we love our military/the military is awesome/go military rah rah NFL production piece.
It hasn't escaped me that the NFL has been brown-nosing all things military really hard lately. Apparent to me at least, this is a blatant attempt to placate the crowd after all the kneeling non-sense.

They still don't get it. It's not just the military you dipwads...it's America! It's our Flag, our Anthem, our love of country and the great things this country and it's people have accomplished and stand for. It's about showing love of country and opportunity and not showing your ass in a childish, selfish display of arrogance.

Equally disturbing, is the NFL knows this and doesn't wanna go there. They wanna play both sides of the fence; one side as to not hurt their snowflake feelings, and the other side as stupid enough to think a military spot will make it all ok.

No they don't get it. In fine fashion, they (the NFL and NBC) think that words speak louder than actions. To them, they can allow it to continue as long as they don't televise it AND say the right things and make everything alright again.

Well we had to put out some weapons for a demo for some visiting Baltimore Raven Cheerleaders yesterday morning (Sunday) Had 6 males and 6 females, the girls handle the guns better then the males.

Woke up about 4am for the kick off over here. Noticed that they had about a dozen Medal of Honor winners out on the field and one of them tossed up the coin for the kick off.
Glad to see the Eagles win.
