Yes. Difficult to diagnose because symptoms don't show up until 6-10 hours after eating (or exposure to) red meat. Symptoms vary in individuals but mine were breaking out in hives/rashes, lip swelling, fingers hands and feet itching, and the worst...sinuses swelling, throat closing, and difficulty breathing. Have to stay armed with an EpiPen but never had to use it.
Also making it worse is cross contamination of cooking equipment. Example...can't order grilled chicken in a restaurant unless they have a separate grill for cooking chicken. They seldom do. Bacon, eggs, sausage, burgers, chicken usually all cooked on same grill. Can't eat pizza if a chance the pizza cutter was previously used to cut a sausage pizza. etc, etc.
