I was cleaning the 22s and can't remember the last time I put a patch down the G34's barrel so I decided to clean it up a bit. Had I not done that, I never would have noticed this damage.

I'm blaming every charlie at the match (and all the previous matches) on this crown damage. That's my excuse and I'm sticking to it.

Damn, that kind of damage to a Glock barrel is really something.
I've never seen one of them damaged at all come to think about it.....

Now you got me to looking at the one on my hip. She’s been abused and rarely gets a bath but she’s been a dependable Gen 3 19. All the dusty mowing and now leaf blowing has her pretty nasty. I guess I’ll do my usual and fire off a round. My Ol lady shakes her head at the cloud of dust that blows out of it. I might run a patch through her and hit her with the air compressor in a day or two...

Reminds of of the surgeon that fixed my knee up. After the surgery, he came into the recovery room and said, the damage you had in there was pretty impressive. Things you don’t want to hear. The damage you had to your knee and your Glock barrel is pretty impressive.

Get out a scribe and even it out with some gouges on the other side
