One of the reasons the wife won't let me go to the store with her is because I look at everything (mostly because I don't go very often). I found this in the discount/expired bin and grabbed it for $1:

Oddly on such a simple thing I screwed up and added too much water so I tossed in a little extra flour, but in the end it came out 'perfect'. The uncooked batter has a chemical smell, probably because it's full of random chemicals, but when baked and compared to the same item at Starbucks this is superior. It's less greasy/oily than the product at Starbucks and tastes better.
It's not real cooking, but if you like the stuff at Starbucks this is a way cheaper way to get your lemon loaf fix.
