This makes me salty...

I get it. Folks that abuse handicap spots should be capped at the knee with a bat.

That being said I have family and friends that are legitimately handicapped and use the placards and, depending upon the day/situation, you would not be able to tell by simply watching them.

Fair 👉
I am just jaded. I deal with arrogant entitled people daily, it tends to sour people on people as a whole.

That makes two of us brother. I am right there with you.

Now now @Chuckman ....... I'm sure she is a life saving CNA on her way to work at a nursing home. Did you forget she's a essential worker and had signs outside for two years saying "Heros Work Here".... 😂

When I see people do this and I'm close enough to say something, I usually just say "Oh, so no physical handicaps then...."

Funny this should come up. I was at Sam’s Club today and a man was parked adjacent to the handicap space. He was in the middle of the lane blocking traffic. When I got beside the handicap parked car and horns started blowing non stop. Apparently the 75plus year old man blocked in the person who illegally parked, and he would not let them out. The woman had her window down cussing like a sailor. I didn’t wait to see the end.

If the cops weren't called I'd be surprised. I've had waited to see the outcome. Then I'm just a bstard at times.

One time in college I was trashing this super hot chick that always parked in the handicap space at the dorm. I had seen her pull up and place the placard on mirror over and over again. Then get out and walk away like it was no issues. I mentioned it to someone say like I can't understand why someone doesn't say anything. Turns out she had MS but it was just diagnosed and only caused her issues with carrying stuff. After 3 years she started using a hand crutch.

I am at Chick-Fil-A waiting for my son to get off work, this chick pulls into a handicap spot, walks her non-handicapped ass in to get her food, walks out, gets in her Jeep, then sits there for 3 minutes on her phone. I got out to say something but she pulled out.

You're doing this all wrong. You acted aggressive. Entitled people see aggressive, feel more justified, and do whatever they want. In this case, leaving before you told her off.
Also, you gave away that you were going after her.

Instead, go passive. Its like what I did to a guy that dropped his buggy into the median next to the Harris Teeter instead of taking it back.
Did I get angry and shout at him?

Nah. I just stood directly behind his car, and started calling family members, checking in how they were doing. Completely oblivious to the running car right next to me. After about 5 minutes, he was quite cross. :p

i am a disabled/handicapped Veteran. it bothers me and i confront the karens. i photograph their cars in case they get belligerent.
I’m also a disabled veteran, but I don’t have a tag as I can still get around for the time being, but, seeing how people abuse Handicapped parking pisses me off. There are people who legitimately need these spaces to park and use. I see you’re from the Springs. You were stationed at Carson. I was there stationed with 4 ID back in the late 80s. I was in both 2nd and 3rd Bde ,368 Armor. Pinion Canyon, the Tank Range and the Witches Tit were some of our haunts and rounding it out with plenty of NTC rotations for good measure.Colorado was nice back then and their politics didn’t suck as bad.

I'm a bit leary of saying anything unless I happen to know for a fact that a person is not actually handicapped.

I've made enough bad assumptions in my life, I wouldn't want to be wrong about that.

And chances are those that don't legally qualify as handicapped are probably retards anyway and therefore morally qualify.

it does not matter if you think you are handicapped... you need a placard or plate or you are breaking the law plain and simple. i think they should tow away violators.
handicapped veterans, seniors and even children are the people the spaces are set aside for.

Need to up your game a notch and start carrying a bag of zip ties to really drive the message home😎👍
Those are for the gas pump nozzle when the station removes the latch so it doesn’t need to be held the entire time. I really don’t appreciate standing in bad weather waiting for 24 gallons. They stay in place when done.

I used to wedge the gas cap to keep it flowing during he oil embargo in the late 1970s.
