IF you decide to stick around awhile, you'll appreciate the job they do keeping things going around here. Take your time, learn the rules, and enjoy..... Or don't. Don't really care either way, but you'll be missing out.

Either you didn't read the rules or, you read the rules and posted anyway. I don't see where the "tyrant" is at fault here.

Dude, you saved yourself, us and the OUTSTANDING MODS lots of grief. All the best on AL, I understand that they love, rule breaking whiners there. The rules here are really pretty dang simple to follow, that may have been what tripped you up??
 
I'd like to appeal to the poster Muddy1954 to wait until Friday. Give us a chance until then. If you still don't like us go ahead and publicly tell a mod where he can stick his rules, but wait until about 8 p.m. so we're able to enjoy the reverberations of ban hammer dropping when the door hits ya where God split ya. It's simple, but has entertainment value.

There's also the option of just following the clearly posted rules. The is a great group if you can read the rules and read the room a bit.

CFF was created and is owned by a small handful of Carolina firearms lovers who have been together for years on numerous other forums. When those changed direction, ownership or otherwise lost their way, in late 2016, we decided to start our own and many followed us. We cover the forum’s expenses (primarily IT in nature) thanks to paying vendors and sponsors and with the modest contributions of our Supporting Members.

We don’t run the forum to make a profit and plow any surplus into forum events, giveaways and contests. CFF is a labor of love and we hope you’ll recognize that as you poke around and get acquainted. You won’t see ads for Viagra or Martha Stewart blenders. The only advertising you will see comes from our very own vendors and sponsors. We will never sell our members’ information nor will you ever see us sell out. We’re here to stay and hope you will be too; having found a new home.

To best enjoy the forum, we have some suggestions:

1. Introduce yourself. We’re something of a family and love getting to know new members. CFF is much more than just a trading platform. But, we do plenty of trading of firearms, accessories, ammo and just about everything else that exists (animals, tools, vehicles, property are recent examples). Please note that commercial business on the forum may only be conducted by our paying Vendors and Sponsors. We give each other feedback on trades so you can trust your fellow members. We’re very intolerant of those that don’t conduct themselves honorably and ethically. Occasionally, negative feedback gets given and there have been some rare cases of having to ban repeat offenders.

3. Participate. Poke around and see what we’re all up to. It’s impossible that you won’t have something to say. We discuss everything under the sun and try to help each other out when able. Need help with your A/C, internet or firearms training? We’ve got experts here. Want to argue about which is the best Bourbon or whether Hellmans or Dukes? Yeah, we do that too.

4. Shout. We have a Shoutbox where some of us chat in real time. Feel free to jump in,

And you have to be here for years before you can just up & call our tyrants tyrants. You can't just come in here and start biting hands. Some of us have spent years harassing, degrading, and annoying the hell out of the staff so show a little respect if you don't mind.

But regardless, I agree with @Timfoilhat , wait until Friday, please. You’ll realize this is actually a great forum, or we’ll all get some great entertainment value. Either way it’s a win-win.

Yeah. Having had to catch and give away a bunch of feral kittens over the years while trying to kill the mama I was not amused.
