My mom, 83yrs is in the last days of her time in this world. I know that death is a part of life, but it still sucks.
I ask for a peaceful passing, I said my peace, and goodbyes this afternoon. She is not gone yet, but it will be soon.

Prayers brother. Yesterday was the 7 anniversary of my mothers passing, today my daughter turned 9. It always reminds me of the sorrow and joy of life is day to day. Peace to you and your family.

I feel for you! Lost mine a year ago this month and even though it was time and she was hurting, don't make it any easier! Prayers for you and your family!
 
Sitting here in bed at midnight perusing CFF while logged out and saw your thread Steve. Immediately logged in to pass along my well-wishes for you, your Mother, and family. So sorry to hear this. Take comfort knowing that she's on her way to a much better place than where she is now. A prayer is headed upstairs for her and you my friend.

It doesn't matter how old they are, it is never easy.
Celebrate the life and the legacy of all those lives that would not be here but for her.
[A few years back, my wife was at her mom's bedside as the end neared after a 5 year decline from dementia.
My wife swears she heard her mother say "let me go now." But her mother was sound asleep. She passed away the following day surrounded by many of her children, grand children, great grand children and even a few great great grand children. She was 91. Hard to believe this one woman had a family tree under her with over 100 new lives added to the world in her lifetime. ]
 
Thanks to you all, your words are comforting. We will see what the new day brings.

It is always so hard to know what to say in situations like this. All I know is I hope and pray she passes easily and you and your family are at peace with it.

Steve, I am glad for her that she no longer has to fight or suffer. I am sad for your loss though, very sad.

Steve, just remember you have a ton of friends here that are thinking about you and praying for you. Your mother is now whole, in peace, and happy.
 
Steve, please accept our sincerest sympathy. My wife just told me to tell you she is very sorry and passes on her condolences as well. As others have said, she's at peace now and in a better place.

I feel for you brother. It was hard when I lost my Mom, but it wasn't Mama laying there in that bed at the end. I'm sorry your Mom passed but I'm glad she isn't suffering any more.
