is the tisas br9 high power clone still being made. I was planning on getting one and cant seem to find any

Tisas still makes the BR9 (called the Zig 14 in Turkey), but the pistol is no longer imported to the US by LKCI.

They sell very well on GB and demand high prices.

I do not mind the Tisas. I have been pretty impressed with the fit and finish of their 1911's, but that thing looks like a bloc to me....

With the experience we have had here with them, I would recommend Any Tisas.

Except for better sights and cheaper grips, the BR9 was essentially a straight-up copy of an older Browning Hi-Power model.

Sure it is really nice for someone though...
