Tommy Built USC to UMP conversion

He just recently done one for me and he is awesome. I opted for the Stock Block conversion instead of a fusion. I sent him my gun and all the parts on a Wednesday and had it back the following Tuesday. If you have questions let me know.

Had this USC for about 15 years before I pulled the trigger on converting.

Sent the barrel to adco for threading. Still a toss up to sbr this thing.

From hkparts youll need stock block adapter, stock, ump lower, axle pin and mag. For tools youll need a hammer, punch, dremel and a beer. Maybe multiple beers when you take the lower apart!

Does anybody know anywhere that sells german made UMP 25 round mags ? I've been looking everywhere.
HKParts is a rip on most things. Go join the HKPro forum and start looking at the WTS post. Post a WTB there also. There are several members there are sitting on tons of parts that don't post WTS ads. That is how I sourced the majority of my parts. Start watching sites like HKSpecialist, Gatewood Supply, Arms Unlimited, RTG Parts, CLyde Armory, HDPS, Black OPs Defense etc. Only use HKParts as a last resort.

I paid at most $60 for my magazines 6 months ago, but parts and mags are getting scarce. The hardest item to find is HK rails. I've decided to get a set of Tommy Built ones once he gets them back from being coated. HDPS use to have them, but not sure since they updated their website to look modern. They are the company that makes the Stock Blocks and other aftermarket UMP parts. Also, while Tom has you gun ask him if he has any mags. I know he use to keep some a long time ago, with several other parts, but that may have dried up. Also, the US ones stink and are iffy at times. The German ones run fine.

Lastly, not sure how much you are wanting to spend, but just looked on Gunbroker and they were $115 now. Last time I looked they were going for $75. If I see any I will let you know.
