Took another gamble. Colt A4

My SoCom is at Colt for excessive windage. I foolishly got a nib colt A4 a week ago. It’s perfect. Windage is spot on. I was scared when I ordered it. I’m happy as a pig knee deep in shit right now. Here she is . WarDawg

200 yards with ta31 Acog . Bench. I’m still dialing her in . Federal 193. 55 grain. I didn’t think that’s to bad out of a 1/7 barrel .

Here she is with her cousin , Colt 6920 M4 . I have a larue fixed sight on her. Reason , I wanted a Light carbine for run and gun steel plates. It works for me. Cheers WarDawg

I've had great luck with my AR-15A4. It's an absolute tack driver and a really soft shooting rifle. I was bit hesitant myself as it's a "Nu-Colt" but like you, I'm tickled with it.

14.5” P/W SOCOM. I’ve run this setup in 3 gun for the past year.

I think this one may be destined to get an ACOG.

Nice catch! I picked up one at FGG NIB about 3 yrs ago. I put a RRA 2 stage trigger in it and a Burris AR332 on top. Great shooter, so accurate it is almost unfair.

I've never been a Colt "guy" but my A4 and a MBT is the one I look forward to shooting the most. While I didnt care for it AT ALL when I was issued one, its a fantastic weapon for what I do with it now. Steel plates out to 600 are easy, 800 is do-able.

I've stuck with a carry handle, for now. I do have a Matech rear sight that I like, to me the rifle looks off without the carry handle. I'll wind up with a ACOG sooner than later probably.

I bought a couple, kept one, the first one. She’s hotter than a hooker on the back of a panhead. We had a 4 legged critter problem at the house, several of them. I was in the shop, cleaning out my 1st brand new A4 when the killers arrived. I hadn’t even zeroed the rifle I now call Barbara Ann, but she came through for me. I trust her.

I looked it today and the SN starts with CAR but the receiver isn't marked carbine as I thought.

I was messing with the scope on my newer race AR and lost zero before a 3 gun match. Back to the SOCOM I went and it ran like a champ and shoots like a laser. She is screaming for an ACOG.

I hunt with my A4 clone. PD and coyotes in ND and whitetail in NC. Lower been replaced with a PSA M16A4 lower.
