Tough Conditions

Haven’t heard of this brand before. As much as I hate going in Walmart, going to give it a try. Thanks for the tip.

QT's have it in bottle form, ready to drink. Can be a help if you really got that head right the night before.

I need to try these. The first time I ever heard of it was on a random youtube video yesterday. I am horribly out of shape and mountain biking in the heat kicks my ass. If this stuff will help me conserve my hydration pack so I'm not empty at the end of the ride, I'm in.

Aren't all IVs 'liquid'? (JK, I know what they mean....)

I have used Nuun and another of which I can't remember the name.

For ready-to-go drinks, checkout Hoist. Not the cheapest, but very good and nutritionally packed.

We had Hoist available at our last class for post mission hydration. To me, Hoist had an aftertaste like gasoline, 3-4 different flavors, all the same for me.

Liquid IV was passed around, nothing to write home about as far as flavor but it certainly seems to do its intended job.

If you can get past the stupid name, this stuff is really good. https://fluidtactical.com/electrolyte-drink-mix/ 4g of sugar compared to 16g in regular Gatorade. They have straight ORS and a few other concoctions. I snagged a case of it and will have a supply of it with my 'camp stuff' going forward.

If you get more Hoist feel free to send it my way! I like that stuff.

I started using Liquid IV in prep for the Run n Guns earlier this year. It works. No question at all. Far far better than Gatorade.

I’m drinking some right now in fact after a 5 mile hike this morning.

I’ve heard Hoist is good as well, and they’re sponsoring the next run I’m going to.
