Recently my check engine light came on in my 2016 Rubicon along with a "gascap" message on my odometer. So I pull the code and and find that it's a leak somewhere in the EVAP system (P0457). I had a spare gas cap and go ahead and switch it out to no avail. So I start figuring that a squirrel has been chewing on something underneath. It doesn't take me long to find the Fuel Vapor Hose from the fuel tank to the charcoal canister has been chewed all up. It was chewed through not far from the fuel tank end of the hose. PIA to reach that quick disconnect way up on top of the tank and squeeze that connector to get it off. Putting the new one took five seconds.
