for the last three years or so I've been trying to learn something new every year. I don't expect to be a master at any of it but rather have a general knowledge. The covenience of fast food and the microwave have made it so a lot of folks don't actually cook meals. My grandmother use to make cornbread and sweetbread. I miss that. My wife is great at whatever she puts her mind to including cooking. Today we are attempting to make meatloaf and cornbread with mash potatos. The meatloaf and cornbread recipes we are using are from the "Celebrating Appalachia" Youtube channel. The lady is from Brasstown, NC.

I think next we'll try The Hillbilly Kitchen's Sausage Gravy

I love what Tube U has to offer, I hate their political leanings.

I'm sure there is a rule in any business course that you don't alienate your customers.

We found her the other week. Hunny bunny just made th cornbread recipe. That stuff is good! It reminds me of my grandmothers.

Her biscuits recipe is super simple and delicious too.

To follow up. My wife and I made homemade biscuits and sausage gravy this past weekend. It was delicious. For the biscuit recipe we used this one:

For the sausage gravy we used a combo of these two (since Dayton didn't really give any measurements and The Hillbilly Kitchen did). We used Jimmy Dean mild sausage.

As you can see I like a lot of sausage in it.
