Even though I made these I must say they are pretty kick butt.

No just natural. To be honest I see no need to seal them but it could easily be done. They are bonded to American walnut wood grips so pretty tough. They do not "seal" snakeskin boots and they would see more wear and tear than grips on a nice pistol. Obviously, for a workhorse range pistol, there would be better choices.

Agreed.. very nice! I think that those grips would pair quite nicely with an FDE colored pistol.
