Upgrade to Win 11 is Ready ... uh

I'm not certain that I'm ready, though. Will it vaxx me though the keyboard?

So for us Luddites ... is this like holding on to Win 7 until the last possible moment against Win 10? Is the Win 11 upgrade being hidden like the Win 10 was so that you thought you were voting for Trump declining the upgrade but only to find out that you were voting for Biden the upgrade had been activated)? I think I used something like "Never 10"?

I surely don't want my computer to become unrecognizable/unmanageable in the midst of a semester.

I think they've learned after the win10 debacle that they should NOT sneak full OS updates in anymore.
that whole "WE ARE GOING TO UPDATE YOUR PC RIGHT NOW, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO UPDATE, CLICK X to acknowledge and update when you look away" was not a good idea.
