USCCA or Atty on Retainer?

No personal experience but I've thought a lot about getting insurance. I've heard the nightmare stories about uscca. I wouldn't give them 1$. I won't be getting any insurance. Don't talk to police after a self defense shooting except to say i eliminated the threat, period.
 
Heaven forbid a life Protection event occurs! Regardless of the methodology applied in defense...

Don't forget to call 911 and ask for an ambulance and police and make sure they "hear" you providing CPR...

One suggestion of what to do post life Protection event, is to ask for an ambulance when police arrive, for "YOU"... That you feel dizzy and your chest feels tight! This will provide time to collect your thoughts and also delay questioning... And contacting an attorney.

Only on TV do people talk. You will never TALK you way out of trouble, only into it! Reserve your Right to silence, tell the police you will make a statement after consulting your attorney. Simple! And it doesn't imply any guilt, regardless of anything anyone says otherwise.

If being compelled or pressured to say something... Never say you eliminated anything, only that you feared for your life! You were afraid you would die!

I just reread your post. Fairly well said. CPR is not necessary but would be in your favor most likely. Saying that you eliminated the threat is not damning. You are simply providing the bare minimum amount information to police so that they can begin their investigation. Or conclude it fairly quickly. You're also able to respond directly, in this forum, to people if you think they are incorrect. I eliminated the threat is attorney given advice. I'm not gonna act like a coward and say I was afraid I would die. Dude tried to rob me at gunpoint and when I seen an opportunity I eliminated the threat. You think that's damning?
 
Cancelled USCCA after they screwed Alan Colie (Dulles mall) and then tried to cover it up by covering his appeal after a public defender got him a partial win in court.

To a liberal DA & jury, YES.
Look at all the flak Kristy Noem is going through for putting a ranch dog down that was killing farm animals. Does it seem a bit cold, yes. But that will most likely be the thing that keeps her from being the VP.
 
I didn't even here about Noems issues. I'm subbed to her youtube too. If a liberal DA and jury are going to convict me for a clearly justified defense shooting then I won't be going in front of a jury. Not wilfully anyway.
