Using “HaHa” emoji as a form of Ad Bashing

I am new to the forum and I have read the site rules but did not see anything regarding using the like button emoji 😂 “haha” to bash ads.
Wouldnt that fall inline with “ if you don’t like what you read, move on”. I posted and ad and my first six responses were “haha”. Some of the members who did this have been here for a long time. Is this some secret message to express a negative sentiment towards your ad? I certainly got the message that it was.
 
I don’t think that it’s very secret, but I hadn’t noticed it until today. As usual someone did it first and some other folks thought it was cute. A mod will be along soon enough to slap their pee-pees and all will once again be good in the world.

FWIW, and I don’t know if it was your ad, but some of the ads that incorrectly refer to pre-panic pricing and not price gouging deserve some bashing, and would get it if not for the rules. Not that there is anything wrong with a seller asking what they want, but the misleading marketing offends me.

Lots of new folks here since armslist changed their rules of engagement, and the scare, and the pandemic, and the riots, the ones we’ve had and the one’s we’re going to have, and just because we are so pithy and witty. It’s a little like a saloon and dancehall, which ain’t all bad.

You only have to be the FNG for a little while, others will be along shortly.

I feel your pain Ash, everything thinks my good looks are a blessing. In reality it’s not. Y’all don’t understand what it’s like to be young and really attractive. It get old having women undressing me in their minds.

So the emojis aren't forum specific. We can't turn them on or off other than site wide.



As it turns out we also aren't much in the mood to police emojis in the BST subforum.



As such if your posted price is such that people react with a haha emoji, perhaps that's a clue. Grown men do grown men stuff

Honestly, I wouldn’t worry about it. The price in your ammo is a little high but not Ridiculous. Plus it’s yours to ask whatever you want. Would I pay that price?? No, but them again I swear I’m gonna stop smoking if they ever hit a dollar a pack:)
I know some people thought I was gouging a couple months ago when I was asking 350 for 1k rds of 9mm

Just long click on the like.option an it will bring up the list or if you're using your phone just hold the like button till the list appears
