Video: PA Man arrested after allegedly attempting to shoot pastor during sermon

This interrupting and fighting is becoming a thing lately.
Had a fight break out at the jehovas witness temple about a month ago. There has been a group traveling around taking over church services for a while now in a few surrounding counties. It's honestly a little batty.
 
It almost looks fake. Shooter casually walking in, casually pointing the gun and then casually trying to follow the pastor. The deacon just gently hugging the shooter to the ground. Shooter just sitting there while the deacon takes the gun.
 
That video evidence is pretty damning to be "allegedly".

I agree that it sort of looks fake. There was also zero effort to cycle a new round.

Great way to get publicity, black on black crime doesn’t usually get headlines.
 
Perhaps he wanted to get killed by an armed parishioner, weird on the take-down, with him facing the pews with a gun in his hand.
 
news flash - crazy people don't act the way normal people do. they don't always act how we'd predict.
also, a large man may be a bit hesitant dealing with an armed threat, especially if he's used to restraining people rather than full on tackling them and crashing their faces against the steps. Maybe he has worked with the mentally disabled and has it in his mind that causing any harm would land him in jail. Maybe he's seen the protests and cities burning and doesn't' want to start it all up again.
 
Yeah, while it does have some things that make me wary of it, I dont immediately jump to "Fake". I mean, this guy is going to jail, hard core. And they found a body in his home.

I can't imagine a church, no matter how corrupt, coming up with "Hey, I have an idea...lets film you attacking me in church with a gun...and when you get out of jail in about 10-15 years it will be epic!"

SC had/has a law where it was illegal to carry in church…NC does not. Obviously if it’s posted that’s a different story. Or the whole church & school fiasco.
 
He’d be a dead gunman if he pulled that in our church.

Anyone else see him try to bite the pastor when the pastor comes back to help restrain him?
 
I worked in / around North Braddock before moving to NC....this doesn't surprise me.
