Violent Rioter or Peaceful Protestor?

Always good advice....can't get past that Possum on his head!!!
Found this on another forum...

I think its strands of kevlar material impregnated with a polymer resin and dyed to simulate human hair. Able to withstand temperature extremes, wind, muzzle blast and deflect brass from Glocks to the forehead. Spliced together end to end it also makes a emergency rappelling rope.

So thats a multi purpose possum....Ive heard about them! Cover, binding agent, blast and wind shield. Thats more than I ever got out of any possum!

Woah. That’s some deep thought for a description of a man’s wig.

He really got us going back in '88. A wonderful story in Combat Handguns....But that Possum has always made me wonder about his cognitive attributes...

Back in the day, I considered Mas Ayoob's book "In the Gravest Extreme" groundbreaking and a must read for anyone considering carrying a handgun for self-defense. He thought outside box and demonstrated that with his antics at some shooting events by doing things that were unorthodox and unpredictable. There used to be a special invitation only event called the Natiional Tactical Invitational (NTI) where some of the best shooter/tacticians in the world were challenged with scenarios that might not have clear solutions, but was an exercise on understanding the problem. I used to love hearing the after action reports by Mas and company.

Like the one in the book when the guys get off the elevator with him in a hotel and tried to act casual as they tried following him to his room. He got there first and only had a wheel gun in an ankle holster but they got to see the barrel when they turned the corner on his door and started to enter.

Or like the time the two, or was it three, started flanking him in a parking deck, so he pulled out and readied his gun causing them to decide they had some other place to be. His quote was if you wait to see the bad guys gun (before you draw yours), you’re going to get to see what comes out of it.

Both of those go against the conventional thinking of typical SD situations. They also demonstrate the rule that these events happen in transitional spaces.

man, that's messed up. I generally feel a bit of paranoia when people conveniently get off an elevator at the same time as me and happen to be going in the same direction. Knowing that there are usually cameras in the halls, I tend to linger, let them pass, suddenly remember i left something somewhere else, etc.

You ever wonder how many times your gut has saved you from an opportunistic but lazy badguy?

Slightly off the track of this thread...

I watch a technology podcast. I enjoy learning about new stuff but abhor the host’s inability to disguise his extreme politics.

Today, he mentioned that “many major cities have been boarded up in anticipation of civil unrest”. Ok, if that’s the case, smart move.

But, he couldn’t resist following up with his opinion that there will only be unrest if Trump loses. Certainly none if Biden loses.

So, Trump supporters are going to break into and loot WalMarts and appliance stores? Amazing when liberals advertise their never ending stupidity. This guy thinks he’s a genius and fair-handed. I’m not that bright but can recognize idiots when I see/hear them.

I guess he forgot that the age of riots kicked off during obama's term. 2014 Ferguson became "the new normal"
