Well, it's gonna happen any way. Supressors and woods will take them a while to figure where it's coming from. The ringing of steel probably won't tip them off.

The first thing the Wake County Commissioners did after the elections was put the limitations on outdoor shooting that were being debated in several town hall meetings this past summer. I'm lucky enough that I have a place to shoot where the neighbors aren't going to pick up the phone and call the law because they hear a few gunshots but these changes are going to be a pain for many residents who want to exercise their Second Amendment rights. I guess the days of going out in the back yard and shooting cans and bottles in the back yard are over thanks to a few careless shooters who let their rounds stray onto other properties, a few crybabies who aren't used to people actually having the right to shoot firearms and the out of control residential development that has been occurring in Wake County for many years now. My rant is over for now but beware since there are new ordinances on the books.

This isn't about gun control as such -- this is about wealthy developers using the gun control talking points to increase the value of the land they want to build subdivisions on. Sure the commissioners will try to win votes from country club Democrats by talking about gun control, but this is about money. Most things are! Same with the NRA on the other side of the line.
