To form 1 eventually. I've held both, haven't shot either one. My main concern is when I get a pistol can the blow back to the shooters face. With me being a left hand shooter this is why it is of concern. My .223 competition rifle has a tuned gas system so while shooting suppress, gas to the face is almost non-existed.

I have a Scorpion. The MPX uses the AR style gas system and will blowback in your face, Scorpion will not.

This is why I went the Scorpion route and couldn't be happier.

For an EVO SBR you may want to consider the Side Project Zhukov folding stock option. The guy doing it actually works for Magpul and it blows the CZ factory option out of the water IMO:

There is also a lot of aftermarket parts makers for the CZ: HB Industries, Gearhead Wurks, Yetti Wurks, Parker Mountain Machine, and now Apex Tactical.

I'm debating the SBR. Might keep it as a pistol for awhile before doing the paperwork.

The Gen 2 MPX dosent have the blowback issues like the Gen 1's. The MPX is way more expensive and like everyone said, the magazines cost $50-60 each. The new style charging handle help remedy that. I do love the MPX. That being said the Scorpion is my next gun.

I want both lol

MadMardigan , you and I both. They are both fine guns. I waited on the telescoping brace so it would remain a pistol. The Scorpion is next on my list and followed by the 9mm Kriss Vector.

Hey DJ,
You're welcome to try mine out.

Proce on the new MPX also took an increase....significant from I read.
Yea, Knifeman mention on the other site. 20% I believe. Doesn't take effect until the first of the year, if I remember correctly. It's what made me get off my butt to pick a PCC up.

I'm a Kriss fan as well! I'm looking for a .45 carbine.

I'd like to shoot an MPX to compare to my Scorpion. The big price difference between the two is what turned me off.

I agree. I got a steal in mine and that is truthfully the only reason I own it. If I can make it down your way, you will have full reign of mine. The Scorpion and Vector are far better priced. I just hope Sig follows thru and makes the caliber conversions and "k" length barrels. I won't complain a bit if they just put out the .357Sig conversion.

I waited 4yr for the CZ to be available stateside and it was well worth the wait. It is significantly cheaper than the Sig, decent and growing aftermarket support, upgrades are pretty darn cheap, very simple design (functionally), and a lot of fun to shoot as a suppressed SBR. If you don't plan on SBR'ing, it's a terrible pistol, but it wasn't designed to be one either.

Djstorm100 Fuquay Gun has two of the pistols in stock. Well, one because the other has my name on it :)

edit: two. Stupid water heater decided to crap out on me this afternoon, so there goes my play money until next month.

I purchased the CZ Scorpion Carbine over the Sig for a suppressor host. The two main reasons have already been stated. No gas system to blow back in your face and the price. I went with the carbine length because I wanted my can to be recessed back in the hand guard.
