Wayne resigned

Retirement will probably suit him well.
He’ll probably now go to work for the Brady Campaign, Moms Demand Something or Another, Giffords Law Center to Prevent You From Defending Yourself Against Tyranny (or something like that) or one of the many other anti-2A groups

He was just waiting around for my last $25.00 payment on my EPL membership.

Seriously go join GOA or FPC if you want to help protect our rights. Only reason I'm an NRA member is most ranges require it for membership.

I tend to not watch many YouTube videos about breaking firearms news but Mrgunsngear usually gets a click from me. This one goes into a bit of detail about Wayne's mismanagement and the compromises that the NRA have signed onto over the years.

mods, can we merge this with the friday dance party thread?

I just got an email letting me know I can now join DPRC, and that I have to be an NRA member. That feels like, “Welcome to the club! (If you sign here stating you approve of Marxism).
Dang it! what makes you so special?

With my screen name I ought to be deluged with invites from my Dear DPRC, but no! China turns up its nose at me!

(DPRK won't even return my calls...)

Poor Wayne. Left a hated man in an industry Charleton Heston was so loved. Everywhere he goes and he is recognized they will whisper many things. He leaves a rich man monetarily but morally bankrupt. He was the face of a non profit who’s members trusted their money was used to train, educate, and attempt to maintain 2A rights. He loved the stature and power. He only resigned to better protect himself and others in litigation.

Reactions: Me.

Can't fly commercial due to threats on his life....

He doesn't say whom the threats are from tho. From dues paying members....

A morally bankrupt individual doesn't care that he's morally bankrupt. That's a part of moral bankruptcy. Sadly, that characteristic seems to be standard for many in positions of power and leadership.

This may be thought of as being an overly broad simplification, but in view of this situation I think it is relevant....

Ronson's book The Psychopath Test is a good read too. Of course I find neurotic Brits rather amusing to begin with.
