I installed a 1.5" leveling kit on my wife's truck. Looks good. But enough about that.

I pulled the camper a couple of weeks ago and noticed new marks on some of the WD hitch hardware. That tells me it may need adjusting. I'm not 100% sure how to adjust or what to adjust and the manual is a tad confusing. Regardless, I made one adjustment to see what happens.

I raised the L-shaped doo-dad one notch because the new wear marks were on the back side of it, closer to the camper.

I haven't made any adjustment to the hitch itself.

After making that adjustment (and failing to take loaded measurements beforehand), my loaded measurements against my unloaded measurements have me 1.5" lower at the rear tire and 3/8" higher on the front.

Do the gurus think this is within an acceptable range, or is the goal to have the same measurements loaded and unloaded? Or, should I have something different, like a little higher in the back and lower in the front?

Looks like the first link is telling me I need to tilt the head a little.

Let's give that a try.

Thanx!

The higher the L bracket is the higher the rear the truck should sit
