We lost a granddaughter today

I am so sorry for all of your family. Addiction does not discriminate. I hate the disease and will pray for Ashley and all who knew her.

While I can't imagine losing a child/grandchild, I have lost quite a few friends to addiction over the years. Each one was bright and full of promise, and it's like something was lost along the way so that their coping mechanisms were just outnumbered by their demons.

Thoughts are with y'all during this time turmoil. I hope Ashley has reached some sort of peace, and I hope y'all can remember the good times.
