A "crockumentary" apparently produced in Germany outlining the history of Glock (including the attempted assassination of Gaston).

Done with what appears to be a very solid Anti-2A slant and a big focus on the popularity of Glocks with gangstas. I finally understand why @Geezer is a Glock guy. :D

Hey....I'm a Glock guy....

“They never fail.” The Glock pistol has been fetishised in films and the arts, and is a regular topseller in the international arms market. For the first time, the filmmaking duo Fritz Ofner and Eva Hausberger tell the story of the rise of the Glock: an Austrian design that became the most sought-after service and murder weapon worldwide. Tracing the web of power, money, violence and politics, the film portrays the dark sides of globalisation and tells an Austrian tale of willful ignorance.

While we were filming his project we saw very clearly the extreme polarization in American society. If you talk to two Americans, one from the east coast and the other from one of the southern states, you really get the feeling you are in two completely different countries. It's just that the question of gun ownership illustrates that polarization particularly clearly, and the two are always linked.

The USA is the main consumer, and without that country’s gun culture the Glock company would not have such a powerful international presence. We discovered how subjects like police violence, inequality between black and white people and the tension between the poor and the rich could be addressed by focusing on this pistol.

I didn't choose the gangsta life.....

From those excerpts, sounds like Globalism is a big part of the problem, and the 2A is part of the solution.

Why didn't they make such a documentary about the 1911, BHP, FAL or AK47? Glock hasn't reached those levels yet.

Glock: Just Another Scapegoat for the Left.

Well Hell we Tried! They wouldn't let us go. And then made Us keep what they were supposedly fighting For. HUH!!!

You'll never hear me say they don't. I've got two boxes of parts for them. They just don't fail that often however. Give a soldier a rock and he'll break it.

CD
I put 1200 rounds thru a G17 without cleaning it. It went Bang. And the case ejected. I love CZ but at 600 rounds, had to shove into battery.

So what they're really selling is to buy a Steyr, because they're made in Austria, just down the road from Glock, and it won't make you ghetto....

Im curious which one? What ammo were you using?
I've had 4 different ones that went over 1500 between cleanings with no issues.
CZ2075 Rami BD. The ammo was MEN German produced. Some of the best target ammo you can buy. No issues with a CZ75B with 800 before cleaning. I don’t shoot cheaper ammo. Not a snob but I like tight tolerance manufacturing.

It never bothered me the Rami needed cleaning more often due to the fact it’s a midget gun for concealed self defense and not a go to war weapon.
