I've got an old cheap 7mag Vanguard that I bought from a guy that said it wouldn't shoot. He was wrong.

Rifles will outshoot the owners . Holds at least 1moa at 100 or not sold.

Nope, using cheap factory ammo. First 175gr hunting reloads I ran through it were between .5 and .75. Cleaned it and put it back in the safe.
Thats what she's built for , hunting.
The factory targets that came with the vanguards were always shot with weatherby ammo. The VGX Deluxes were
some of the prettiest stocks and blue jobs you ever saw .

I had 3 of them and sold them like a total idiot. VGX's sold for $500 brand new back in the late 90's. I still have about 5 Vanguards and they are all great hunting guns as well as two Howa's with 26 inch barrels that do well plinking steel.
